An ITSM process assessment method
TIPA provides a framework for the assessment of IT Service Management processes with the ISO/IEC 15504 standard assessment approach. TIPA is focusing on the achievement of the process purpose, taking the business context into account. This enables to provide better inputs for process improvement.

The creation of TIPA
TIPA has been created in 2003 by Centre de Recherche Public Henri Tudor in close cooperation with business organisation’s IT departments, IT service providers, ITSM consultants and the ITSMF Luxembourgish chapter in order to focus on ITSM real needs. TIPA was presented to the ISO/IEC 15504 community, what permits to warranty both the scientific value of the method and the support of the ISO/IEC 15504 community. |
