itMSFThe IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) is the internationally recognised and independent organisation dedicated to IT Service Management (ITSM). It is a not-for-profit organisation, wholly owned, and principally operated, by its membership. The itSMF is a contributor to industry "best practice" and Standards worldwide, working in partnership with a wide range of governmental and standards bodies worldwide.

The aim of itSMF is to:

  • Develop and promote industry best practice in IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Engender professionalism within service management personnel
  • Provide a vehicle for helping members improve service performance
  • Provide members with a relevant forum in which to exchange information and share experiences with their peers on both sides of the industry
  • Provide a forum to service providers, suppliers and users to discuss matters related to ITSM
  • Assist members in finding and obtaining the correct guidelines and tools, aimed at ITSM
  • Promote exchange of information, ideas and experience
  • Enable organisations in streamlining management of IT service delivery
